| Im a big fan of the Old Mowtown era, i loved a lot of the groups, i loved the age, and the style.
Some great songs and great artists were born of the Mowtown Era xxx | |

| Motown is derived from the nickname "Motor Town" describing Detroit, Michigan, a big automobile manufactering city. Lots of great music came out of Motown Records. Motown Records gave black artists a big opportunity in the music world, allowing their music to be published into the main stream before white artists could redo their songs and take credit for it. Great music. | |
