| I make Mulled Cider each Christmas. No real recipe or amounts, it can be changed to suit your taste. I simmer a gallon of apple cider with orange and apple wedges floating in it. In a cheese cloth I put some cinnamon sticks, whole nutmeg, some lemon rind. I tie the cheese cloth with a twist tie and place it in the cider. Let it slow simmer for a while. The odor will make your home smell real nice and Christmassy, and also make it very difficult to not try the cider out early. | |
