Sharing bad news

I have had to do this on many occasions over the years in one way or another, im glad if i have time to think about how and what im going to say, but sometimes we arnt always that lucky to be prepared.

I try to put myself in that persons position, imagine how they will feel and then deliver the news in the simplest and most sympathetic way that the situation allows. xxx

That's about how I do it Wen. One of the hardest bad news I had to tell someone is when I had to fire a person from their job. Even though it was justified, it was still difficult.
