what do you do to lift your spirits when your down ?

I have been very down last few days. I dont have the common sense to be thankful and am spending wasted time on what isnt present in my life rather than what is present in my life. To try to lift my spirits I take a nice long shower, slathered on scented lotion then cuddle up tightly in my fave blanket and go to a happy place. Happy place is usually a secluded island with beautiful blue waters and singing birds. I embrace the solitude and tend to get recharged to face those things that bring me down.

Thanks gals. I do a lot of visual imagery to get through crazy days. WEll, OK, I use visual imagery even on good days to help smooth the edges some. I also do transcendital (totally spelled that wrong) breathing. A long time chat friend sent me the CD's and they have been helpful.
