Long distance relationship

Do long distance relationships work ?

Have you ever been in this situation, if so did it work for you ?

I think if two people are committed to and trust each other then a long distance relationship can work. It's really hard and can get lonely and you have needs and all that, but it's all the better when you do see each other. I couldn't do it now, I'm too needy, but I have a lot of respect to people in a long distance relationship who make it work, because their loyal to each other x x x

when i was younger my dad was in the army and i courted a couple of squadies, we had fairly long relationships considering they were away months at a time.

I must admit even at 15 ect i wasnt stupid, i used to say to them, il stay faithful and wait, but if you cant, i dont want to hear about it.

Seems silly now but come on, 17 and 18 yr old lads away from home, i didnt expect them to wait, i just hoped they would.

Oh to be young and daft lol xxx
