Is it just me getting older or suffering from lack of concentration ?
I seem to spend the best part of my day making notes or lists for one thing or another, dont get me wrong ive always been a list person to help keep me organized, but it seems i am writing lists for just about everything these days.
Just lately i have been more aware that our finacial circumstances are about to take another dive so ive been trying to budget things and get a kind of perspective on things before the big bang so to speak.
Tonight i planned the buying of our toiletries, lordy i never thought id see the day, but thats what ive done, listed what we need to buy weekly, fortnightly and monthly as a family.
It really puts things into perspective when you realise whats needed and whats just self pampering ect, dont get me wrong, im not giving up any of the essentials that i use, but i will learn to use what i have before purchaseing something new or different.
My daughter and i decided to put what toiletries we had together and theres enough of some items to save us some pennies for a while, but my biggest shock was my husbands toiletries.
The drawer under the bed was packed full of shower gels, deoderants and smellies, at least a good six months worth easily, so theres a saving right away
