I have helped out indirectly with a few charities, usually due to something my daughters or nephews have been involved in to raise cash or prizes for several different charities.

They seem to get more involved every year helping charities and local charities by doing the Great North Run, Race For Life, Coffee mornings, bag packing, hosting Discos and other parties that involve the disabled and their families and friends, the list just keeps growing.

I will get sponsors, find raffle prizes and organize anything donated.
I will help prepare a room for a party by laying out the food and raffel prizes, help with decorating and anything else thats needed.

Im very very proud of our kids for being so charity minded and aware, we could use a lot more like them Wink xxx

Sound like kids you can't help being proud of Wen. :) I've helped our Union Mission which feeds and shelters homeless men. I also was a member of the Red Cross. I helped them put a shelter together for our town, and located a much needed store house for supplies. I can't forget the Guardian Angels. Great organization, and I do feel we made a difference in this town.
