This recipe was found on the back of my bag of Hudson Cream flour. I have made these cookies quite a bit and they are delicious.For information about Hudson Cream flour visit here: Hudson Cream Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies Cream Together:
1 cup buttered flavored shortening (I just used margerine)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Add & Mix:
2 cups Hudson Cream Self-Rising Flour
2 cups of chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Drop by the tsp. on to ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Variation (tried and tested by me) Instead of using two cups of chocolate chips use : 1 cup chocolate chips, 1 cup of peanut butter chips
