Do you suffer from vertigo, if so how does it affect you and how do you manage it ?

I had vertigo really bad from september 2012 until late january 2013.
Id never suffered before and ive never experienced anything like it, dizziness that make me veer off in different directions to my intended direction, feeling sick and fuzzy headed, lordy it was a night mare.

I tried two different kinds of medication and then i was sent to the ears, nose and throat at the hospital for futher tests, they were great, did a hearing test and chucked me around for about half an hour and that was the process bk to recovery.

It hasnt compleately left me but im not on meds and it only catches me off guard once in a while so im happy enough.

How does it effect you ? xxx

I don't know if it would be considered Vertigo, but, I do get dizzy periodically. I experience it mostly when I lay down or in the shower, as soon as I step into the warm water. Very unsettling feeling for sure.

Funny you should say that bill, there are many different ways vertigo shows itself.

For years ive had this thing where walking down a flight of stairs had me on edge kinda like i was afraid of falling as the stairway would seem to get longer, making it higher and wider as i walked down.

Even now there are some days i go to walk down and the stairs are so daunting i have to either shout on someone to help me down or i have to come down on my bum, apparently its a form of vertigo too xxx
