| The one pet peeve that can be remedied has to do with engineers/designers and their ingenious idea of parking lot design. At least here in the U.S., when you go to a large store, you leave your car and have to walk in a drive way with cars going 2 directions, not to mention having to walk behind cars that are backing out of parking spaces. Then, you have to cross the main drag which runs along the front of the store. There is no good reason why we need to walk in the same places all traffic is driving in. I understand why the lots are designed that way, the almighty dollar. Which is more important, money or peoples safety? | |
