| Mine were a real mixed bag, My mam came from a large family where a little had to go a long way and for the best part it was stodge and anything filling.
My dad on the other hand was a Master chef in the Army for 23 yrs, but sods law he was never home to cook lol.
We were brought up on quick easy meals for the most part, but we always had a sunday roast and some naughty stuff occasionally, especially when dad was away lol xxx

| You ruined my image of you Wen. I didn't think you ever did anything "naughty". LOL
My father couldn't cook. He even has horrible culinary taste. My mom could cook a wide variety of food. She was also a great baker, pies cakes etc. I would watch her cook and was constantly asking questions. They were questions like: Why do you do that? Why do you put that in? What does that do? After a while, she would tell me to go play, BUT, the next time she started cooking, guess what I started doing? :)
