I feel good There is a hurricane in the Atlantic & we have had cloudy, cool weather. I walked to the store this morning and it brought back childhood memories. I could smell the dried leaves, the crisp air. I love this kind of weather.

I love that smell. It always reminds me of Christmas and the fact that autumn/fall is done and winter is here. It snowed here yesterday, which is really early for us, or late from last year lol It was sunny today though. Its confusing when the weather is like this, but that's British weather for you... unpredictable.

Finally we are experiencing the fall weather here in the south. As I type this ( from my phone) I'm sitting here with a peppermint soy candle burning beside me, wrapped up in a nice warm shawl, drinking a cappuccinoand watching scary movies. Today has been wonderful, just being able to sit and do nothing and enjoy the small things that we often overlook because of busy distracting lives, feels amazing. The cool breeze coming through my windows, the sound of the wind blowing the leaves on the ground, quiet since my babies are napping, thank you God for this moment, for this amazing sense of relaxation and well being! I have had a bit of a roller coaster day of emotions, my daughters came to see bill and i for our anniversary, a nice thing but special times always seem a lil tainted or empty without mark, so ive been pretty up and down but life goes on, hey ho xxx
