General chat Forums

People don't visit each other like they used to. Teenagers used to be on the phone, laying on the floor with feet up on a chair. Talking on a phone is obsolete. Texting and chat forums are easier. Sadly, young children have picked up the habit. Instead of playing with friends outside, getting exercise, they hang on computers & cell phones. It not only hurts their physical health, but they also do not practise social skills. Proper social interaction is important to a healthy society.

i couldnt agree with you more bill, but on the other hand, people who are lonely or cant get out much rely on things like this just to feel part of something.

Thats not to say that everyone who uses them is sad or lonely of course, i personally am a peoples person but i dont go out very often so i enjoy interacting and getting to know others online xxx

You're right, chat forums would be excelent for people who can't get around. As the saying goes, there are pros and cons to everything. :)
