How much food wastage would you say you have in your home ?

For us its no where near as bad as it was but it definately could still be better.

I cant get my head around using leftovers, the idea of eating it next day or whenever puts me off, i like freshly prepared meals.

However i so wish i could get over it because thats where our wastage comes from xxx

I normally cook just enough for the meal. I don't like having leftovers. With the extra people here now, and others doing some of the cooking, leftovers are filling up my fridges. It's driving me crazy, especially when half of it just gets tossed out anyways. Turning to the next chapter, a lot of guests from Europe visiting my inn would complain that the breakfasts were too large, they were 3 course. Those complaints always floored me. I learned one big difference in continental cultures. Nontheless, I agree with them. I don't like wasting food if there is a way around it.
