| Everyone I've served this to likes it, and I can tell, they want more. :) I can't give exact amounts, it will be to your judgement.
Place a layer of hamburger in bottom of casserole, maybe 1/4 inch thick. Place american cheese over entire bottom. Spread a thin layer of your favorite spaghetti sauce over cheese. Sprinkle cinnamon over sauce to taste. Don't be afraid, the cinnamon won't be as strong as you think. Repeat above directions for top layer. Bake at 350 degrees or 176 celsius for about 1 hour. Let it rest out of oven for 10 minutes or so before cutting.
I didn't know how British oven temps are set up, so I included both temps.
This can be made in smaller individual oven proof bowls also. I use wax paper to roll out the hamburger, then put the casserole upside down on it, then flip it for bottom layer. The top is trickier. If you love cheese, put a lot in. Don't forget to give it a name. I thought this up as a teenager. Never did name it. Maybe there is a contest brewing here? :) | |
