Becoming frugal was a neccesity to us after my son died, luckily for me i had aleady starting looking into frugality before that as a way of making things and saving some pennies.

I should have been totally devastated that we were living on the bones of our asses and i certainly worried about it, but i saw it as a challenge, learned to stop taking things for granted, tried my hand at making my own cleaning stuff ect and making gifts for others.

So my terrible reality check has become a wonderful learning curv for me and one i still enjoy xxx
