I was recently witness to a miracle. On Feb. 19th I saw my beloved doggy being run over by my neighbor. It was horrendous! She laid crying for a few seconds then jumped up and ran to me. The kids turned around to come back to help me, very apologetic. I gave them a piece of my mind and wanted badly to punch them, I was still furious. Furious at them for speeding and at myself for having her off leash. I live on a rural, one lane in the middle of nowhere gravel road and this neighbor family is well known for driving like maniacs. Anyway after several nervous minutes after getting her into our home, she stood up, got a drink of water, ate a bite of food about an hour later. I thoroughly examined her, no broken bones, no scrapes, except for two on her chin, and no intense swelling. I am convinced it was a miracle. You would have to know me personally to know how much this dog means to me. Which is all the more reason I think I was sent a "message" She is fine as ever and I am heeding the "message" that was sent to me in being more mindful of her and being a more responsible pet owner. As for the neighbor, well they are going to do what they are going to do. I reminded them that they have pets too and up to this point everyone was very mindful of their uncared for pets by our choice but that could easily change. You get what you give. Anyway, that is my miracle. xoxo M
